Settings reference

Open Barred's settings from the menu bar icon → Settings....

The settings window has three tabs: Menu bar items, General, and About.

A live, read-only list of every menu bar item Barred has detected, grouped into Visible and Hidden sections.

This tab is a diagnostic view — use it to confirm that Barred can see a specific app's status item. Items are added and removed automatically as apps launch and quit. Rearranging still happens in the menu bar itself via ⌘-drag.

If Accessibility permission hasn't been granted yet, this tab shows the onboarding prompt instead.
